History
The Electronic Media department was started in the year 2017, incorporates career-oriented Core subjects such as Professional Photography, Advertisement Photography, Computer Graphics & Animation. The learner develops the necessary skills and ability to understand the techniques involved in media production processes such sound, radio, video and television production.

Welcome to the Department that connects art and technology.
Electronic Media is a part of school of media studies. The Department aims at providing exhaustive knowledge with the technology and software used in the field. The Department has a well-equipped lab and studio with which the students are trained on video and audio editing softwares. Internships which are part of the course provides opportunities for the students to learn from the best production houses and other media companies in the field.
The students are exposed to different industrial visits organised by the department which aims at providing the students with insight regarding the internal process of the companies and also bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-life experiences.
The department organizes various competitions and workshops at department and College level which enhances the creativity of the students and help them learn about managing and organizing such activities.
The students are honed in both theoretical and practical aspects that are imperative in TV, radio and other media's production, operation, management and post production. After the course the students can pursue a lucrative career as a skilled media professional in news and TV channels, radio stations, production houses and cinemas, corporate communications and various other online broadcasting companies.

Programme Outcomes
The program helps the learner to develop secretarial skills required for the corporate world and gain adequate knowledge in various legal requirements related to company issues.
Programme Specific Outcomes
The learner develops the necessary skills and attributes to enable them to understand company’s activities, organisational structure and statutory requirements of the organisation, the role of the company secretary in the organisation. The learner also becomes eligible for a professional course in ACSto become a company secretary and the learner also becomes eligible for a post-graduation in the same field or for professionalfields like MBA, MSW etc.
