History
The Department of Computer Science Shift II was established in 2018. Computer science is a fast-moving field that includes the disciplines of Mathematics and Programming. We train students to keep pace with the changes in the developments in all the fields of Computer Technology. Students develop practical skills such as programming oriented (Java, C, C++), visual basic packages, graphics and hardware oriented (digital logic and microprocessor). The Department equips students to attain special knowledge of computer science theories, methods, practices and strategy and specific understanding of computing architecture and design.

Welcome to Department of Computer Science - Shift II
The Department of Computer Science - Shift II was established in 2018. Computer Science is an ever green and even lasting field in the technology driven world. Keeping this in mind, we educate our students to shape them up to meet the industry requirements with confidence and courage. Technology keeps changing day-to-day, so and we make our students flexible to upgrade them as the industry changes. With a state-of-the-art laboratory and qualified faculty members, we guide students to become knowledged and skilled citizens. We provide them with a holistic learning in the field of Computer Science. The department association “CYBERNAUTS” involves the student’s participation in organizing and conducting technical events in the department. We identify first generation learners and provide special guidance for them to develop their skills. We seek to hone the skills of students by providing hands-on training, Industrial Visit, Symposium and exhibition. Keeping in mind the changing needs of the industry, the department provide career placement training program. Dear students, it gives me immense happiness to be part of your growth in tertiary education.

Programme Outcomes
The program helps the learner to understand the functionality of hardware, software and networking of the computer system. The learner also develops a practical training to meet the industrial needs.
Programme Specific Outcomes
The learner develops the necessary skills and ability to understand
and analyse technical solutions to complex computer science and engineering problems with the application of modern and
appropriate techniques for sustainable development relevant to professional engineering practice.
The program also gives an opportunity for post-graduation which helps them to upgrade themselves as a professional in this course.
