The Department of Computer Application has recorded consistent improvement in its academic and placement performance. It offers a range of innovatively designed programs whose curricula are constantly updated to meet the changing requirement of the industry and to meet the needs of major stakeholders.

We believe that our students have been well accepted in their job profiles and have consistently exceeded expectations of the technical world. During study at the department, the students are encouraged to get hands-on experience in the information world. They are encouraged to take up mini projects to supplement theoretical knowledge with practical experience. They also undertake projects benefiting local industries or dealing with local problems and also help them to realize the finer aspects and importance of teamwork. We also encourage students to organize events and participate in technical events organized by other colleges and also get involved in activities of social relevance. With all these inputs one finds our students hardworking, practical-oriented and effective in any work environment.

We have designed our syllabus to strike a balance between professional knowledge and personal skills. We are confident that our current curriculum has enabled the overall development of technical skills to come up with the expectations of the IT industry. The programme helps the learner to design and develop software applications and innovative solutions to establish themselves as effective professionals by solving real problems through the use of computer science knowledge. The program also helps the learner to adapt to new technologies and by upgrading their skills

The learner develops practical competencies in a programming language, open platforms and develop computer programs in the areas related to algorithms, graphics, system software and multimedia.
The program also gives an opportunity for post-graduation which helps them to upgrade themselves as a professional in this course.
