Welcome you all to the Department of Accounting and Finance

The department began its journey in the year 2017 with an undergraduate programme aimed at providing an extra competitive edge to the students who wish to specialize and make a career in Finance and Accounting. We focus on the multifaceted human resource development of the students anticipating covetable academic achievements that will assure them excellent career prospects in life.

We encourage the students to organise and take part in events such as National seminar, Inter-Collegiate meets, Workshops, Industrial visit, Social outreach activities and try to inculcate academic Orientation, practical exposure, Inter personal relation with the students and Environment. Opportunities for developing and proving their talents in Sports and Extra-curricular activities are facilitated with well-equipped infrastructure. We also offer value added courses, career-oriented programmes to empower students with entrepreneurial and decision-making skills by providing an excellent academic environment inculcating values of discipline, dignity, dedication, and devotion to higher causes along with sportsmanship to make them better citizens. Apart from the normal curriculum students get to participate in cross cultural group activities like Clubs and meetings, where they learn to develop their interpersonal skills and the social responsibilities.

We aim to build a set of students who would lay their strong foundation on Accounts, Finance and Ethics for the benefit of themselves and the society. Developing more innovative, creative, and caring approaches in every facet of delivering our services, we are confident to excel more with you. I am also energized and excited about what we have to offer and the many opportunities that await us in training our students, developing our faculty, and serving the community.

The program helps the learner to have a comprehensive knowledge regarding Accounts, Finance, Marketing, Taxation and Business Laws which makes the student a trained professional for various industries and corporate sector.

The learner develops the necessary skills and attributes to enable them to work in multi-dimensional business situations and efficient financial managers of the organisation. By the end of the study the learner will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of corporate finance, markets, and instruments, as well as gather, interpret, and evaluate accounts and financial details.
